Template folders are special folders containing templates which may be copied to other folders. Templates can be arbitrary BSCW objects, e.g. documents of any kind, polls, flow folders, tasks and even folders including their entire contents. Typical examples of templates are letter or spreadsheet templates with elaborate layout and formats plus complex formulas in the case of spreadsheets, which have to be filled with specific contents after copying.
In addition to user-defined template folders containing templates for the use of an individual or a workspace group, there are also system-wide template folders accessible to all registered users of the BSCW server, which are managed by the system administrator.
